“Chizuru!” Fear and concern clearly laced his voice. Ibuki grasped the young girls shoulders to steady her as she began coughing again.

“Come on, you need to rest.” He opened her door and guided her inside the room towards her bed. Her helped her sit down and wiped away a few more tears before brushing her hair aside and laying a palm on her forehead. He was no expert at medical things but he at least new to check someone’s temperature if they were feeling ill. He had leard that much from hanging around Yamazaki so often. But… even if she was ill, why was Chizuru crying so much?

Ibuki looked around for a cloth he could use to dry her tears. “Shhh, it’s okay Chizu-chan… Ryu-nii’s here. I-I’m gonna help you, okay? You need to tell me what’s wrong.” He didn’t know what to do to help her until he figured out what the source of her torment was. He hated seeing the young girl like this. He wish more than anything to just take all he rpain away and see that bubbly warm smile again.
